Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers on bridging theoretical rigor with practical relevance. I design courses that equip students to analyze complex governance problems, apply evidence-based frameworks, and engage critically with public sector institutions. Drawing on fourteen years of prior public sector experience, I bring practitioner perspective into the classroom without sacrificing analytical depth.I have taught at the graduate level in Brazil’s only NASPAA-accredited MPA program, where students include senior public servants, nonprofit managers, and policy professionals. This experience has sharpened my ability to teach diverse cohorts with varying professional backgrounds — a skill directly transferable to MPA and MPP programs in the United States.

Also taught Public–Private Partnerships (Undergraduate) at FGV EPPG.
Pedagogical contributions: Editor-in-Chief, Revista Tecnológica de Administração (FGV RETA), a journal dedicated to teaching cases (2023–2025). Author of original teaching cases published in GVcasos and in ENAP’s Casoteca de Gestão Pública.
